The Purple Peach

Tenay Terrell is a formally trained Pastry and Savory Chef located in Dallas, TX. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area before relocating to Philadelphia, PA where she enrolled in Culinary School and began working in high end kitchens from New York City to Baltimore. She trained under acclaimed Chefs and Restaurateurs. She has a resume that spans 2 decades and 5 U.S. states. 

Her study of food and the energetic response from the meals she prepared began around age 7. She started cooking for her family, her mother worked in a stressful Executive position and her father worked hours away from her home. This forced her to learn the ins and outs of the stove, the oven, working safely with a knife and heat regulation 'on the fly'. As sensitive as she is, she began speaking 'wishes' into her dishes. Wishes for her mother to stop stressing and her father to slow down.

It began working in real time.

In the year 2000, at 14 years old, her mother was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. She fought through months of Chemo + Radiation to beat her cancer. Over these months her body began to deteriorate and she had a complete loss of appetite. Her Doctors shared with the Terrell family that it wasn't looking good for her mother and to begin expecting the worst. This was a turning point.

Tenay didn't believe her mother was going to fall with her Cancer. It wasn't going to happen in her heart and mind. She began feeding her applesauce everyday after school for a week. Just one week. With each spoonful she aligned her mind and heart to healing her mother from her Cancer and spoke words of conscious intention into the applesauce on the spoon.

Within 2 weeks her Mother was moving around, eating solid foods and smiling. Within a month she began gaining weight again and at her Doctors appointment she was pronounced 'Cancer Free'! Her team of Oncologists had no medical explanation for how her Stage 3 Esophageal cancer could disappear within one month.

The Power of the Peach is real and each woman, man and child has the Power of the Peach within them.

It is Tenay's life's work to help shift the collective viewpoint on cooking, consumption and living a heart centered life for the betterment of all lives.
